Instead of having to pull the cap and bearings out of the hub, with the bearing buddy you simply pump with grease. Our bearing buddies/protectors are perfect for building a brand new boat trailers or changing existing dust covers on a hub or drum. Made from stainless steel, these bearing buddies are durable and won’t come off easily. Designed to fit specific types of hubs, drums and discs they ensure dust and grime is keep away from your bearings. You can use the grease nipple to quickly fill grease into your bearings with out taking the dust cover off. You can easily install bearing buddies by gently hammering it into the hub, if you find that the cap is loose we suggest gently flaring the cap out on a towball.
