The UB45S145G is a galvanised square U-bolt measuring 1/2" diameter × 45mm internal width × 145mm internal length. It is designed primarily for securing compatible square trailer axles to leaf-spring suspension assemblies using a fish plate.

Suitable Applications
- The UB45S145G is designed to clamp a compatible square trailer axle to the spring suspension assembly. The U-bolt passes over the axle and through the fish plate beneath the spring before being secured with the Nyloc nuts.
- Typical applications include boat trailers, box trailers and other leaf-spring trailers using a compatible 45mm square axle. Swiftco also sells this exact size in a four-U-bolt/two-fish-plate suspension kit.
Maintenance
- We recommend re-tightening the Nyloc nuts every 300km as a safety precaution. The U-bolts should also be inspected regularly for corrosion, damaged threads, deformation or loss of clamping tension.
